Installation

To install the search plugin, make sure you are using the Firefox browser, then click the link below.

The search plugin should install automatically if you are using Firefox.

Using the Search Plugin

The Firefox search field is located in the top-right corner of the browser window. If the ChatRef.com search option is not selected by default, simply click the icon in the left of the search field and select ChatRef.com from the list. After selecting ChatRef.com, you can search for acronyms, abbreviations, and emoticons directly from the Firefox toolbar.
